This document relates to the acceptance of transfer credit in university studies (core curriculum) from other institutions.

Languages, Social and Behavioral Sciences (6 SH) |
Any two courses in the same language, or any two introductory courses in psychology, sociology, philosophy, logic, anthropology, economics, or a survey of the social sciences |

Humanities and Fine Arts (6 SH) |
Any two sophomore survey courses in English, American or comparative literature, or a combination, and/or courses in music history, music literature, art history, and introductory or survey courses in theatre, music or art or theatre appreciation. Courses in art, music, or theatre fundamentals, theory, or methods, and applied music will not substitute. |

Physical Education |
Any four physical education activity courses, no more than two of the same activity. Medically excused students take PE 101 and one three-hour course in the Department of Health, Kinesiology and Sports Studies. For an official excuse, the student takes a statement signed by a physician to the Office of the Dean of Students. |
