The Educational Technology - Library Science Master's Program at Texas A&M University-Commerce is designed to prepare students for leadership roles as school librarians. Master of Science in Higher Education – Emphasis in College Teaching (HETE)
Master of Education in Educational Administration (EDAD)
The MEd degree program includes 36 required hours in Educational Administration. All 36 required hours also apply to the department’s Principal Certification Program. Students who are seeking the Master’s degree and Principal certification should select an approved elective that align with departmental requirements for Principal certification. Students who have not been fully admitted to the program may take up to 6 hours of coursework under non-degree-seeking status while their admission status is pending. These courses are EdAd 615 and EdAd 626. No other courses may be taken until fully admitted.
Master of Science in Training and Development (TDEV)
The graduate program in Training and Development prepares individuals to work as program developers, teachers, and trainers in formal and informal settings such as educational institutions, business and industry, community agencies, health care organizations, and continuing and professional education. Students will learn to analyze training needs as well as design, deliver, and evaluate training programs.
Other job opportunities include: program designer, training technologist, needs assessment analyst, researcher, transition specialist, career development advisor, training consultant, and employer marketing. This 36 semester hour program may be completed on either a full-time or a part-time basis. Most courses are offered in the evenings or at other times convenient for working adults.
