Department Mission
The mission of the Department of Engineering & Technology at Texas A&M University-Commerce is to provide a high quality learning environment for degree and non-degree students seeking job entry, professional, technical managerial, or engineering, construction, technical competencies currently required by business, industry, education, and government enterprises.
Bachelor of Science Degrees
Construction Engineering
Construction and civil engineering principles, construction methods and processes, structural principles, site analysis, computer-aided design, soil mechanics, traditional and sustainable materials, equipment, engineering project management, contracting, and applicable laws and regulations.
Industrial Engineering
Automation; computer applications; engineering economy; ergonomics; facilities planning; manufacturing, production, and service systems; operations research; probability and statistics; project and quality management; statistical quality control; systems design, engineering, and simulation.
The Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.abet.org.
