Human Subjects Protection
Texas A&M University- Commerce is committed to the protection of human subjects. To ensure that A&M-Commerce meets its commitment and the mandate by the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and the National Institute of Health (NIH), A&M-Commerce requires all individuals conducting/participating in research projects (including faculty, staff, postdocs, research assistants and students, etc...) that involves human subjects to complete training for the Protection of Human Subjects and Responsible Conduct of Research. This requirement is met by successful completion of the online training module from the Collaborative Institutional Training Institute (CITI) website. Please link to either website below to complete the Human Subjects training online through the DHHS or NIH. Each investigator and research personnel may receive training by completing the online training available at the DHHS or NIH websites.
