Updates for 2011-2012
The processing and awarding of financial aid for the 2011-2012 academic year has not been easy nor timely. Federal and state legislative branches, in an attempt to balance government budgets, passed new laws and have reduced budget allocations in all programs. Recommendations from state and federal auditors are also in place for the 2011-2012 academic year. Some changes affect financial aid programs. Other changes affect processing financial aid.
