Greetings English Language Institute Student,

Welcome to the English Language Institute (ELI) at Texas A&M University-Commerce. My name is Magxina Wageman and I am the director of the ELI. Our dedicated faculty and staff are delighted and eager to help you meet your language goals. Please let us know if there is anything, we can do to further your language learning.

While in the ELI, I urge you to participate in the activities and programs available to you as a student at A&M Commerce. We have 130 student organizations; one of those is the Association of International Students who can help you adjust to living in the U.S. You will find yourself, as you advance through the program, not just learning English, but making friends and a home here at A&M Commerce.
