4th Annual Disability Awareness Week: October 10-15th
Students with disabilities at TAMU-Commerce are encouraged to participate in all aspects of campus life. Therefore, Student Disability Resources and Services (SDRS) provides services to students with disabilities to ensure accessibility to university programs. SDRS offers accommodations counseling, evaluation referral, disability-related information and resources, adaptive technology counseling and equipment for an campus use, testing accommodations, and interpreter services for academically related purposes.
Scholarship Opportunity
disABLEDperson, Inc. is excited to announce their Spring 2012 nationally-based scholarship competition for college students with disabilities! This competition begins December 15, 2011 and ends on February 29, 2012 for the award of $1000.00.

Workforce Recruitment Program:
The Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP) is a program that connects college students and recent graduates with disabilities to employers across the nation for summer internships and full-time jobs. Check out www.wrp.gov to learn more.
A recruiter will be on campus October 28, 2011. More details will be provided as they become available.
To qualify, applicants must:
- Have a disability
- Be a U.S. Citizen
- Be currently enrolled full-time or graduated in December 2010
